Felicia Pitcher
Instructor and Competition Coordinator
Felicia Pitcher’s passion for dance began at the age of five and has only grown stronger over the years. She trained intensively for 14 years in ballet, hip hop, tap, jazz, and acro—spending six of those years under the mentorship of Miss Nikki. During that time, she not only developed as a versatile and dynamic performer, but also discovered a deep love for teaching and leadership within the studio setting.
Felicia has since emerged as a talented and award-winning choreographer. Her routines have received numerous special judges’ awards for storytelling, musicality, and creative vision, and have consistently placed in the top overalls at both regional and national competitions. Her choreography reflects a strong technical foundation paired with emotional depth, and she is known for her ability to bring out the unique strengths of each dancer on stage.
Felicia has graduated from the University of New Hampshire, where she studied Event Planning with a minor in Hospitality. She is also a certified yoga instructor, bringing an understanding of mindfulness, alignment, and physical wellness into her teaching approach.
Now an experienced instructor and competition coordinator, Felicia has spent several seasons teaching and mentoring competitive dancers. She has developed a special interest in the world of dance team and regularly attends clinics to continue learning, evolving, and bringing new insight into her classes and choreography. Felicia is passionate about helping dancers not only succeed on stage, but also grow in confidence, technique, and team spirit.
She is proud to be part of the leadership at The Dance Conservatory of Southern Maine and is committed to helping each dancer shine both in and out of the studio.
